Birth 2012 was a worldwide movement and celebration, visioned by futurist Barbara Marx Hubbard and The Shift Network’s Stephen Dinan to mark the Dawning of a New Era in Humanity.  The Birth 2012 Welcoming Committee included: Neal Donald Walsch, Dr. Jean Houston, Rev. Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith, Dr. Jack Canfield, Lynne Twist, James O’Dea, Lynne McTaggart, Ervin Lazlo, RinaldoBrutoco, Oscar Miro-Quesada, Dorothy J. Maver, Ph.D.  and Ashok Gangadean.

 

Since the Mayan date marked the end of a calendar cycle on December 21, Birth 2012 designated the Birth Day for a new era as the following day, December 22.

 

The Shift Network supported the movement with organization structure, fund-raising and event planning for the Gala Celebration at the AGAPE International Spiritual Center in Los Angeles and with a 36-hour world-wide webcast celebration from locations around the globe.

 

LightPartners Noel and Bob supported Birth 2012 with their, self-funded “Conscious Evolution Tour” driving 20,214 miles through 48 states and 2 Canadian provinces and co-creating 93 presentations with local evolutionaries.  They hosted regular local Birth 2012 Hub support calls and were regularly featured in the Birth 2012 communications.
